The base play. Anchor runs downhill behind a double team, a kick-out and a pulling guard.
- Strong side line
- Wall. Guard and tackle double the down lineman, then one climbs to the backside linebacker.
- Quick guard
- Wrap. Pull flat, turn up inside the kick-out, block the first linebacker to show.
- Hinge
- Kick out the end man on the line, inside-out.
- Anchor
- Slide step, press the tackle’s inside leg, cut off the wrap.
- Quarterback
- Flash the ball to Jet, hand to Anchor, boot away. That boot is the Boardwalk look.
The outside linebacker is not blocked. Jet’s fake widens him.
